This is a full tang knife, meaning the wooden parts of the handle fit either side of the metal tang which is visible along the centre of the handle.
Like most people, we have a drawer full of cheap paring knives that are great, but it’s the handmade ones you form a relationship with, putting them on your knife rack, not in the drawer.

The handle on this knife is Rewa Rewa.
The steel is Nitro V heat treated to 62HRC hardness.
Hard enough for excellent edge retention while still able to be maintained with a Honing Steel.
