Deeper blades are perfect for rocking cuts with a slightly more curved cutting edge than the narrow blades. The broader blade also facilitates scooping up the garlic, herbs etc, with the blade.

This is a full tang knife, meaning the blade and tang are visibly continuous.
The timber on the handle is Rata.
The handle design is modern with no stainless steel bolster making it less expensive, with no reduction in quality.
The steel is Nitro V hardened at 62 HRC giving very good edge retention but still allowing a Honing Steel to be used for edge maintenance.
