90% of tasks can be acheived with a small/medium knife rather than a big one, plus they are very freindly.

Deeper blades allow the user to operate anywhere on the chopping board without the fingers contacting the board as they do with narrow bladed knives.

Deeper blades are perfect for rocking cuts with a slightly more curved cutting edge than the narrow blades. The broader blade also facilitates scooping up the garlic, herbs etc, with the blade.

Many people exist quite happily with a deep or narrow bladed knife as their favourite, it’s all personal.

This is a full tang knife, meaning the blade and tang are visibly continuous.

The timber on the handle is Southern rata with a stainless steel bolster (where the blade meets the handle) .

The steel is Nitro V hardened at 59/60 HRC giving very good edge retention but still allowing a Honing Steel to be used for edge maintenance.
