Deeper blades are perfect for rocking cuts with a slightly more curved cutting edge than the narrow blades. The broader blade also facilitates scooping up the garlic, herbs etc, with the blade.

This is a full tang knife, meaning the blade and tang are visibly continuous.
The timber on the handle is Kowhai with a stainless steel bolster (where the blade meets the handle) .
The handle design is classic with a finger hook.
The steel is Nitro V hardened at 62 HRC giving very good edge retention but still allowing a Honing Steel to be used for edge maintenance.
